Ok, so here's the story behind this one. This Leela is not the same as the Leela you all know and presumably love (or at least like), but a different Leela from a parallel universe. In this universe Leela went slightly nuts after finding out her parents were mutants and, after a series of interesting acts, ended up destroying the world. Now she's hunting down all the alternate versions of Fry in order to kill them because... well. She's nuts.

She reminds me of me, if I were a woman, and had one eye.
This is awesome work.

If you were a woman and had one eye I imagine you'd be a little crazy too.

...I'm not sure "nuts" even begins to cover it. But this would explain why Leela had a gun to Fry's head.

I love the coloring on this; I wish the picture were bigger so I could soak in all of the details. That ruined city looks hauntingly beautiful (odd combination of words, but that's how I see it).

Details? What details?

Seriously, if you get close enough you'll see that most of the "detail", at least in the city, is actually an illusion. I'm lazy. :)

Maybe details wasn't the proper word; but I could have sworn the small preview you posted on PEEL looked more detailed than it does here, and I thought it was because the picture was smaller.

I'm not really sure how to explain that... :)
