Originally this. It loses something when the colour is applied, mostly because I'm so very, very out of practice when it comes to colouring anything. Still, 15 minutes to sketch, 15 minutes to colour, I'm not doing so bad. If I put more time in I might even be half-way decent.

EDIT: one thing the colour really highlights is how often I screw up the hip joint. That thigh is massive!

Also yay for artistic nudity.

Note from the original as it's relevant: I don't noooormally do this sort of thing on dA but I saw this pile of... art and just had to have a go at doing it properly. I mean... god in heaven, was she hit by a bulldozer or something?

I know my art has flaws (sometimes huge flaws) but I at least try and pay attention to what a body looks like before drawing it.

Martini because I like martinis.

The cigarette holder--because you like them or Holy Golightly or Cruella De Vil? I usually like your flaws. Very nice Marge.

Martinis? For some reason I'm reminded of the scene in M*A*S*H (the movie, not the TV show) where Trapper and Duke are making martinis and they meet Hawkeye for the first time, who insists their drinks need olives. Trapper says something about it being war and they being in amilitary camp or something, and Hawkeye produces this big jar of olives, which he apparently carries with him wherever he goes.
I mean, that's about as surprising as a colored archonix pic these days :P

Anyway, you should do it more often. The sketch looks lovely enough on its own (even for a card-carrying marge-hater like myself), but the color gives it some extra panache.
