So long and short version: I busted my shoulder last november, I've been waiting for months or scans and specialists to poke and prod me and it looks like I'm in for the long haul.

I was doing art, but some time last month it became too uncomfortable to keep on doing it. As such I've pretty much ceased all my artistic activities until this is all sorted out. Which sucks, but there you go. No art or commissions or anything like that until they figure out what's wrong and fix it.

At the moment they're saying it's some sort of detached cartilage in my shoulder joint. I've already had a rotator cuff dysfunction from a previous injury a long, long time ago but that only ever made things a bit uncomfortable. With this it often hurts to raise my arm over my head. I haven't been able to work since (at one point I thought it was better and went back to work. I managed an entire day and then spent the rest of the week dosed up on codeine); art, writing and occasional fiddling with raspberry pi things has been keeping me from going completely stir-crazy. Now I'm down to writing and pi.

So yeah, that's the state of play at the moment.

Sucks really.
